Forum Trackbacks

When posting around on forums today and seeing them often go on many tangents, I had an idea: what would happen if forums had a trackback system like blogs?
I believe this would be a good idea. vBulletin’s “related posts” and “tagging” features have already started linking forum posts together - however, some times, I find [...]

Why is Feedburner good?

If you haven’t noticed, I have added Feedburner to Krazyness’s RSS feeds. Feedburner is a handy tool provided by Google which allows blogs to keep track of unique visitors to RSS. It collects statistics about RSS, and makes RSS subsciption easier by providing a pretty landing page.
Previously, I was skeptical about Feedburner’s RSS service. I [...]

How many times should I blog per day?

You’re at your Google Reader, Bloglines, or Firefox Live bookmarks. You click “reload live bookmarks”. No new posts.
You’re desperate for new blog content to read. Firefox must be giving you the wrong information. You then open up each and every blog that you read daily, looking for updates. None.
I know this can be a really [...]

T-shirts

I’m thinking of ordering custom tees for Teen Business Forum. I think that a black tee with the TBF logo would look pretty cool.
I’m just trying to decide: How many tees should I order? I’m thinking of using Custom Ink. They seem to have good customer satisfaction, prices, and selection. I’ll let you guys know [...]

The gods must be krazy!

Google’s SERPs have updated recently, negitavely affecting my main site, Krazy Letter, in one of its most competitive keywords.
Traffic has halved, and earnings have gone to 1/5 of the original daily earnings. This is not very good, as Krazy Letter is my main cash chow.
What does this mean? Reliance on Google for traffic is *stupid*. [...]

Acquired Anime-Store.com

I’ve acquired Anime-Store.com last weekend.
I’ve figured that it’s about time for me to try to enter the Affiliate Marketing market. I haven’t tried it before, but it sounds like a lucrative opportunity - too many websites are monetized by Adsense and other CPC ads right now.
What do you guys think? Should I try to enter [...]

Facebook…Shafted?

After monitoring my Facebook stats for the past few days, I’ve been annoyed day after day. Remember my posts about Facebook Conversions and advertising on Facebook? Well, it seems like Facebook gave me a “Trial” of their advertising service. My $0.20 CPC bid got me through for the first two days -  but my ad [...]

Facebook overtakes Myspace

On April 19, 2008, Facebook passed Myspace’s traffic rankings. What does this mean?
The web is a extremely fluctuating place - and there is room for new things. I know from experience that many teens have been moving off Myspace. Why? Here are the reasons that I moved off of Myspace:

Too many ads!
Disgusting layout - navigation [...]

Teen Business Forum Redesign

Teen Business Forum is undergoing a redesign! Lewis, of ShockMedia, finally contacted me with the design that he promised me. I’ve contacted Gary Rae of PSD to VB to code it.
Why change the skin of Teen Business Forum? I just changed the skin a few weeks ago after I acquired it. Well, the free skin has [...]
