Got my 1st Facebook Conversion!

I finally got a Facebook conversion! 16 clicks and $2.70 later, I’ve gotten a registration at Teen Business Forum. That’s not bad. I will keep track of the conversion rate - if it averages pretty well, in a week or so I’ll up my bid to $0.25 or $0.30/CPC. That should get me a lot [...]

What a small world…

Mizko of Meskos Forum Development Blog has just met djbob of Helio Host on Invisionize Forums.
What a small world! Apparently, djbob had just visited Meskos from my blogroll, when he saw Mizko’s thread in Invisionize. Definitely a crazy coincidence. What are the chances that djbob would click on the link in my blogroll, and then [...]

$0.73 click!

I have to give it to Sentient Youth Forums - the topics on the site are generating high-paying adverts! Thank you myncknm, Purrflicta, and djbob for helping contribute so much on the site.
In contrast, I am happy about this because Krazy Letter Forums hasn’t been doing well in Google Adsense recently. I’ve been getting a [...]

Facebook Ads

I’ve begun an ad campaign for Teen Business Forum on Facebook. Targeted to 13-24 year olds, it’s an ad for TBF. However, Facebook ads have *ridiculous* CPC rates: $0.70-0.90/click was recommended to me.
I’ve set my CPC rates to $0.20 - this *should* result in a more reasonable $2 or so per member - counting on [...]

John is quitting the web industry…

As a response to: Is it time for me to retire?
It’s kind of sad to see a fellow teen webmaster leave the industry. However, I think John’s comments about the web industry resonate with the rest of teens whom work on the web. Is it worth it to do this at this age?
One one hand, [...]

eBay Ads are waay too overboard

So…I think that this proliferation of eBay ads are finally going overboard. Today, when looking at the ads: ->
I haven’t been keeping up with news lately, but isn’t this ad kind of illegal in the 50 states of the USA? In fact, I thought that human trafficking is illegal in most developed countries. Weird.
Anyways, I [...]

Video Blogging

So, I wanted to try video blogging today. I acutally did two things: one thing on TBF announcing the progress of the current competition, and one on here.

Ranking for The Great Blog Experiment?

I just did a search on “The Great Blog Experiment” on Google.
Nobody useful is ranking for anything - thus, another one of my goals during the next few months will be to rank for “The Great Blog Experiment”. I think it’s going to be easy. I’m going to try doing that without using META/Keywords on [...]

Possible Disruptions to Krazyness

So…before I start to blog about random topics that people are *acutally* interested in, let me bring up some things that might disrupt my Krazyness blogging career.

AP Testing

This week and the next week, I will have AP testing. Not fun.

Finals

June 2-5, I have Finals week. Although some of my AP classes won’t have finals, it [...]

Deal!

I just made a deal with djbob of HelioHost about this blog:

If I make $60 or more during the last 15 days of August (17-31), he will give me $20
If I make less than $60 during the last 15 days of August, I will give him $20

The $60 is based on an average of $4/day [...]
