Google is Indexing Stuff in my Javascript?

I have some script in Krazy Letter that goes like this:
<script type=”text/javascript”>
//skip a few lines of code here
var playerConfURL = ‘http://www.krazyletter.com/flv_player/data/playerConfig/342.xml’;
var PlayerGuideURL = ‘http://www.krazyletter.com/flv_player/data/guide/342.xml’;
var PlayerBannerURL = ‘http://www.krazyletter.com/flv_player/data/banner.xml’;
var PlayerCommercialURL = ‘http://www.krazyletter.com/flv_player/data/commercial/342.xml’;
</script>
The XML files are not referenced anywhere else. However, check this out:

Weird, huh? I guess I’ll be blocking this with robots.txt…

Facebook Live

Microsoft to Expand Facebook Ad Pact
Microsoft will be providing Windows Live Search to Facebook users. Initially, this may seem like a small thing - it may just be a search bar for Windows Live - but then again, think again.
When you’re on Facebook, how many times do you use the search on their site? Honestly, [...]

The limits of meta

From Seth Godin:

Blogging about blogging, writing about writing, documentaries about documentaries, songs about songwriting…
It’s tempting to use a medium to write about the medium.
It works for a while, but there’s a limit. Pretty quickly, you hit a natural ceiling and you won’t be able to go any further. The most obvious trap online: websites that [...]

Facebook overtakes Myspace

On April 19, 2008, Facebook passed Myspace’s traffic rankings. What does this mean?
The web is a extremely fluctuating place - and there is room for new things. I know from experience that many teens have been moving off Myspace. Why? Here are the reasons that I moved off of Myspace:

Too many ads!
Disgusting layout - navigation [...]

What a small world…

Mizko of Meskos Forum Development Blog has just met djbob of Helio Host on Invisionize Forums.
What a small world! Apparently, djbob had just visited Meskos from my blogroll, when he saw Mizko’s thread in Invisionize. Definitely a crazy coincidence. What are the chances that djbob would click on the link in my blogroll, and then [...]

eBay Ads are waay too overboard

So…I think that this proliferation of eBay ads are finally going overboard. Today, when looking at the ads: ->
I haven’t been keeping up with news lately, but isn’t this ad kind of illegal in the 50 states of the USA? In fact, I thought that human trafficking is illegal in most developed countries. Weird.
Anyways, I [...]

AJAXwrite

While Crusing around the KL Slashdot News forum, I found something rather interesting. It seems Michael Robertson, and apparently a team of coders, although not specified, are designing a suite of free tools to compete with Microsoft Office, and possibly others. They plan on releasing a new one each week. Using AJAX, this is done [...]

Windows Start Beta?

I’ve noticed that after Live.com has a new layout…for people who miss the old one, I’ve recently found a Start.com, which is basically the old layout of Live.com.
What do you think is with that? Microsoft wouldn’t buy Start.com for no reason at all, it would be an expensive domain to buy. Are they going to [...]
